back to the grind with new focus..

havn't posted a poker report in a while as it hasn't been much of a priority since i've been out here on the other end enjoying life .. (more of a trip report later when i get some photos together..)

however, i've taken a sweet ass luxury apartment here in the centre of bangkok for a month or 2 and planned on getting some ridiculous grinding in before moving on.. i played a 50k hand session between 1/2nl and 5/10nl (mostly 2/4) for the first 2weeks of the month which went absolutely terribly and i've since had to take a break and reevaluate my game.. the break has been going pretty well and i've just been chillin for the past few days, workin' out at the downstairs gym most mornings, jammin' on my guitar, going for swims, saunas, massages, having good food and wine etc, basicallyjust enjoying the smaller things in life not having to deal with checking forums, hand historys, line checks, videos etc.. so it's been relaxing and fun, but i'm definately ready to get back to the grind fully refreshed for a week or 2 before the u.s..

my laptop got completely wiped during the week also so i've got no graphs to show for my 2week grind but if i did, it would go something like this..

obviously a terrible result to breakeven after a tough 2week grind, but i'm well over it and ready to move on..i'm gonna set a couple of targets to keep my mind focused and help keep me away from the ridic high varience field that is the $1000nl hu tables..

so here's the proposal..

i'm heading off to california again at the end of the month and have just under 2weeks left before my flight out..

the dealio is that i must complete

• 40k hands of 6max at 1/2nl
• 10k hands of hu at any limit at or below 200nl
• also gonna try to continue hittin' the gym and pool most mornings as it for sure helps focus me during the grind..

if i complete the challenege within 10days showing a profit of over 3bb/100 for the 50k hands i'll be treating myself to a trip to ankor wat in cambodia for the few days before i leave.. it's either that or another scuba diving trip to one of the islands..

so i'm looking forward to this, time is a tickin'...
also, i'll be shipping $100 to anyone who sees me playing 3/6nl or above until the end of the month..
